Waterloo Regional Police Continue to Investigate Theft Incident in Waterloo
The Waterloo Regional Police is continuing to investigate a theft incident in Waterloo.
On November 26, 2025, at approximately 5:20 p.m., police received a report of a theft in the area of Barrie Place.
The victim had arranged to meet the suspect to sell jewellery posted on a buy-and-sell website.
The victim met at the agreed location and the suspect asked to hold the item before purchasing it. Upon being handed the item, the suspect fled the area on foot.
Investigators are looking to identify and speak to the individual pictured below in connection to this incident.
Waterloo Regional Police Service has three Buy and Sell Exchange Zones in Waterloo Region. These zones, which are located in the parking lot of WRPS facilities, aim to provide some additional peace of mind to those who are buying, selling, or trading property online. Members of the public are encouraged to utilize these Exchange Zones when meeting people to finalize online transactions.
