Police Arrest Male After Responding to Commercial Robbery in Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male following a commercial robbery in Waterloo.
On May 18, 2025, at approximately 3:50 p.m., police responded to a business in the area of King Street North and Northfield Drive East.
The known male entered the business and stole merchandise. When confronted, he brandished a knife and fled the store. Officers located the male nearby and arrested him.
As a result of the investigation, a 35-year-old Waterloo male was arrested and charged with:
- Robbery with a weapon
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Failure to comply with probation order
The male was held for a bail hearing.
