WRPS' Traffic Services Unit Investigating Cyclist-Involved Collision in Cambridge
Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Services Unit is investigating a collision involving two cyclists in Cambridge.
On May 15, 2025, at approximately 7 p.m., police responded to a collision between a Honda Civic and two cyclists at the intersection of Christopher Drive and Myers Road.
Through investigation, officers determined that the Civic was heading south on Christopher Drive and turned right onto Myers Road into the westbound lane. The Civic then struck the cyclists heading east in the westbound lane of Myers Road.
The cyclists, a 44-year-old female and a male youth, both from Cambridge, were transported by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Civic did not sustain any physical injuries.
The intersection was closed for approximately two hours for the police investigation.
The investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit.
