UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:

Waterloo Regional Police have laid charges in connection to a criminal harassment investigation.

On December 19, 2025, members of our Special Victims Unit identified a male suspect wanted in connection to multiple criminal harassment incidents in Waterloo Region. 

A 29-year-old Kitchener male has been arrested and charged with criminal harassment. 

The accused is scheduled to appear in court in March 2026.

The Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Special Victims Unit is continuing to investigate multiple criminal harassment incidents reported in Kitchener-Waterloo. These incidents are believed to have occurred between July 2025 and December 16, 2025.

Investigators are looking to identify and speak with the person shown in the attached photos in connection to this ongoing investigation.

The male is known to frequent Conestoga Mall and Fairview Park Mall and has also been observed travelling on the ION light rail system.

The subject male is described as approximately 5’6” tall, with a medium build and dark hair. 

The male is known to frequent Conestoga Mall and Fairview Park Mall, and has also been observed travelling on the ION light rail system.
