Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a commercial robbery in Kitchener.

On December 25, 2025, at approximately 12:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of Victoria Street South and Westmount Road for a report of a robbery at a convenience store.

A male suspect brandished a knife and demanded money before fleeing the area on foot toward Mooregate Crescent.

The suspect is described as a Black male, 20 to 30 years old, approximately 6’2”, in a black vest, sweatshirt, track pants, and running shoes.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police urge anyone with dashcam or surveillance footage from the area at the time of the incident to review it.
