Waterloo Regional Police Seeking Wanted Individual
UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male on warrants for multiple charges, including dangerous driving, flight from police, and breach of probation.
On Thursday, January 22, 2026, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Offender Management Unit attended a residence in Brampton, near Steeles Avenue and Bramalea Road and located the wanted male.
As a result of the investigation, Wayne Kozma was arrested without incident on four outstanding Criminal Code warrants and three Provincial Offences Act warrants.
Mr. Kozma was transported back to Waterloo Region, where he was held for a bail hearing.

Waterloo Regional Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Wayne Kozma, 47, who is currently wanted on seven outstanding warrants, including four Criminal Code and three Provincial Offences Act warrants.

Mr. Kozma’s outstanding charges include, but are not limited to:
- Dangerous Operation (three counts)
- Flight from Police (two counts)
- Take Motor Vehicle Without Consent (two counts)
- Breach of Probation
Mr. Kozma is also before the courts on charges of Assault Causing Bodily Harm and Mischief. He has been a suspended driver since 2010, yet continues to operate vehicles, presenting an immediate and significant risk to public safety due to his ongoing dangerous driving behaviours.
On January 1, 2026, Mr. Kozma was involved in an Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigation after taking a vehicle without consent, fleeing from police, and causing a collision.
