Police Arrest Wanted Cambridge Male and Seize Drugs and Weapons
Waterloo Regional Police have charged a wanted male with several drug and weapons-related offences in Cambridge.
On May 5, 2025, at approximately 12:05 a.m., a Direct Action Response Team officer on proactive patrol in the area of Dundas Street North and Beverly Street located a wanted male in a parked vehicle.
Police arrested the male who was wanted on charges of dangerous operation, fail to stop after accident, assault with a weapon, and uttering threats in connection to a collision investigation from April 22, 2025 in Cambridge.
Upon arrest, police located a machete, a flick knife, Canadian currency, and drugs, including suspected fentanyl, cocaine, and hydromorphone.
The male, a 43-year-old from Cambridge, was charged with the following offences:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking (three counts)
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing
