Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a weapon-related call in the City of Kitchener.

On May 2, 2025 at approximately 11 p.m., police responded to reports of a male youth suffering from a stab wound in a greenspace in the area of Homer Watson Boulevard and Pinnacle Drive.

Police arrived on scene where there was a large gathering of youths, and later located the victim who was treated at local hospital with minor non-life-threatening injuries.

It is believed that the victim and the outstanding subject are known to each other.
