Police Continue to Investigate Hit and Run Collision in Cambridge

The Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a hit and run collision in Cambridge.

On January 15, 2026, at approximately 11 p.m., police received a report of a vehicle into a house in the area of Main Street and Lowrey Avenue North. 

Through the investigation, it was determined that the unknown driver left the roadway, struck a house and caused damaged to nearby power lines. The driver failed to remain at the scene.

Roads were closed in the area for several hours for repairs to the downed power lines and have since reopened. 

The investigation is ongoing.
