Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Robbery in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a person-on-person robbery in Kitchener.
On January 24, 2026, at approximately 2 a.m., police responded to the area of Lancaster Street West and Union Street for a report of a robbery. Officers located a male victim who reported that an unknown male approached him and robbed him while armed with a knife. The suspect then fled the area in a vehicle.
Personal property was taken during the incident. No physical injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing by members of WRPS’ General Investigations Unit.
