Emergency services responded to a fire at a residential property in Kitchener early Sunday morning.

On January 25, 2026, at approximately 4:10 a.m., emergency crews responded to reports of an apartment fire in the area of Queen Street South and Charles Street East.

The fire was extinguished by the Kitchener Fire Department.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and the investigation remains ongoing.
