Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a hate-motivated incident in Kitchener.

On February 9, 2026, at approximately 6:10 a.m., police received a report of graffiti on public property on Charles Street East near Cedar Street South.

The graffiti included hate-motivated writing. 

The investigation is ongoing.
