Police Charge Male with Robbery-Related Offences in Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male following a commercial robbery in Waterloo.
On June 14, 2025, at approximately 12 p.m., police responded to the area of King Street South and Willis Way for a report of a disturbance at a business.
A male in a store yelled at employees and threatened them before leaving with unpaid merchandise. The male reentered the store holding a metal pipe and uttered threats towards staff. The male then fled on foot.
Officers located the male nearby on Caroline Street South and arrested him.
As a result of the investigation, a 32-year-old male was charged with:
- Robbery
- Assault with a weapon
- Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
