Police Arrest Female After Hate Motivated Incident in Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police have made an arrest in a hate motivated incident in Waterloo.
On March 1, 2026, at approximately 1:45 a.m., police responded to reports of a disturbance at an establishment on King Street North.
Through investigation, it was determined that a physical altercation occurred between a group of individuals. During the incident, an individual began directing racial slurs towards the victim while also causing damage to their property.
The victim did not sustain any physical injuries.
As a result of the investigation, a 19-year-old Guelph female was arrested and charged with Mischief Under $5,000.
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
