Arrest Made After Knife Related Threats in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating an incident involving a male who allegedly threatened members of the public with a knife in Kitchener.
On February 27, 2026, at approximately 4:20 p.m, police responded to the area of Wilson Avenue and Kingsway Drive after receiving reports of a male threatening people with a knife. Upon arrival, officers located and arrested a 35-year-old Kitchener male. No physical injuries were reported.
The male has been charged with:
- Two counts of assault
- Mischief – interference with property
- Uttering threats to cause death
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
