WRPS Arrest’s Male Following a Commercial Robbery
Waterloo Regional Police have charged a male in connection with a commercial robbery in Kitchener.
On March 1, 2026, at approximately 3:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at a business in the area of Victoria Street North and Weber Street East.
An unknown male entered the business, brandished a firearm, stole merchandise, and fled prior to police arrival.
Officers responding to the area located and identified the male suspect a short time later.
A 58-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with Robbery, Point Firearm, and Fail to Comply with Release Order. He was held for a bail hearing.
