Waterloo Regional Police have charged a male in connection with a break and enter in Waterloo.

Shortly after midnight on March 1, 2026, police received a report of a suspected break and enter in the area of Regina Street North. Officers responded and located damage to a residence. Police located the suspect nearby, who was subsequently arrested.

A 21-year-old male was charged with Break and Enter and Trespass by Night. 

The male is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
