Waterloo Regional Police have charged a female in connection with a robbery at a grocery store in Cambridge.

On March 2, 2026, at approximately 10:20 p.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at a business on Cedar Street. 

The subject attempted to steal grocery items and, when confronted by store loss prevention staff, assaulted the victim before fleeing on foot.

Officers responding to the area located the female and arrested her a short time later. A 43-year-old female from Cambridge was arrested and held for a bail hearing.
