Police Continue to Investigate Robbery at Kitchener Convenience Store
Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a robbery at a convenience store in Kitchener.
On March 10, 2026, at approximately 3:50 a.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at a store in the area of Westmount Road West and Westwood Drive.
Through the investigation, it was determined that an unknown male suspect confronted a store employee while displaying a firearm and demanded cash. The suspect stole cash and fled the store on foot.
There were no physical injuries reported as a result of this incident.
The suspect was described as a Black male, approximately six feet tall, with a thin build and long curly black shoulder length hair. The male was wearing a black jacket with the hood up and black track pants.
The investigation is ongoing by members of WRPS’ Break and Enter, Auto Theft, and Robbery (BEAR) Unit.
