Emergency Services Respond to a Serious Collision in Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a collision involving a pedestrian in Waterloo.
On March 11, 2026, at approximately 4:45 a.m., police responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by an SUV on King Street North, just north of Hickory Street East. As a result of the collision, a 23-year-old male was transported to an out‑of‑region hospital with serious but non‑life‑threatening injuries.
King Street North was closed for several hours to allow members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Unit to conduct the investigation.
