Police Continue to Investigate Vandalism of Kitchener Pride Crosswalk
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after a Pride crosswalk was vandalized in Kitchener.
On March 13, 2026, police received a report of vandalism to a pedestrian crosswalk on Joseph Street.
Through the investigation, it was determined that on March 8, 2026, at approximately 11:40 p.m., three unknown individuals riding bicycles, intentionally drove in a manner that caused tire markings on the painted Pride crosswalk.
The investigation remains ongoing.
