WRPS Arrest Youth After Weapons Incident at Cambridge School
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a youth after responding to a weapons incident at a Cambridge school.
On March 13, 2026, at approximately 1 p.m., police responded to Glenview Park Secondary School after reports of a youth with a knife being inside the building and attempting to initiate a physical altercation with a student. Police were contacted and the youth left the school.
Officers attended and arrested the youth nearby.
As a result of the investigation, a 16-year-old Kitchener youth was charged with Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm.
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
