Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a hate-motivated incident in Kitchener.

On March 21, 2026, police received a report of graffiti that had been painted on a park pathway on Strange Street.

The graffiti included hate-motivated writing. 

The investigation is ongoing.
