Police Continue to Investigate Threats Related Incident in Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a hate motivated incident in Waterloo.
On March 30, 2026, at approximately 8:30 a.m., two individuals parked their vehicle on Columbia Street West near Batavia Place when a male suspect approached them and uttered threats. The suspect proceeded to assault one of the victims and cause damage to their vehicle.
Through investigation, it was determined that the suspect continued to make racial comments towards the victim during the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
