Waterloo Regional Police Charge Cambridge Male in Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material Investigation
Waterloo Regional Police have charged a Cambridge male as part of an investigation involving child sexual abuse and exploitation material (CSAEM – formerly referred to as child pornography).
On March 30, 2026, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Cybercrime – Internet Child Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Cambridge and arrested a male.
As a result of the investigation, a 42‑year‑old Cambridge male has been charged with:
- Possession of Child Sexual Assault and Exploitation Material
- Making Child Sexual Assault and Exploitation Material
- Voyeurism
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
The Waterloo Regional Police Service is a member of the Ontario Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet. This initiative is supported by a grant from the Ministry of the Solicitor General.
