The Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating a disturbance that occurred on March 26, 2026, at approximately 8:30 a.m. on ION LRT train 508.

A male boarded the train and caused a disturbance before lunging at an unknown victim with a green object in his hand. The same male then spat on an unknown female passenger. 

The male exited the train a short time later at Fairway Station.

Police are looking to identify any victims or witnesses who may have information related to this incident.
