Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Male Following a Weapons Call in Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male following a weapons-related call in Waterloo.
On April 4, 2026, at approximately 10:15 a.m., police received information regarding a male threatening members of the public with a knife in the area of Westmount Road North and Father David Bauer Drive. Officers responded and located the male, who was arrested without incident.
The 40-year-old male has been charged with Uttering Threats to Cause Bodily Harm or Death and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
