WRPS Arrest Two Males and Locate Drugs and a Firearm after a Kitchener Traffic Stop
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested two for multiple drugs and firearms related offences after a traffic stop in Kitchener.
On March 12, 2025, at approximately 8:30 a.m., police received a complaint of suspicious activity in the area of Norbert Place and Nelson Avenue.
Members of North Neighbourhood Policing attended the area and located two males who matched the descriptions as they were leaving in a vehicle.
Officers conducted a traffic stop, and through the investigation, discovered the two were in possession of multiple forms of narcotics, including suspected fentanyl and a large quantity of illicit pills.
Officers also located a firearm, ammunition, and two prohibited weapons.
A 27-year-old male and a 34-year-old male, both from Kitchener, were arrested and charged for multiple criminal offences.
The males were held in police custody for a bail hearing.
