Waterloo Regional Police Seeking Public Assistance Following a Sexual Assault Investigation in Cambridge
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault that occurred in Cambridge.
On April 20, 2026, at approximately 4:15 a.m., a male suspect forcibly entered a residence on King Street East. The suspect made threats of a sexual nature toward a 63-year-old female victim. A brief struggle occurred, and the suspect fled the residence.
A short time later, the suspect returned to the residence but fled again after the victim sought help. The victim did not sustain any physical injuries.
Through the investigation, police have identified the suspect as Jessie Breault, a 33-year-old male.

Jessie Breault is currently wanted for sexual assault and three counts of break and enter.
Due to the seriousness of the offences and concern for public safety, police are asking members of the public not to approach Jessie Breault. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately. Jessie Breault is believed to reside in the Cambridge area.
