On April 26, 2026, at approximately 3:50 a.m., officers responded to a report of a residential break and enter in the area of Albert Street and Bearinger Road in Waterloo.

Through the investigation, police determined that three unknown individuals forced entry into the residence, assaulted the victim, and stole multiple items before fleeing the area.

The victim sustained non‑life‑threatening physical injuries as a result of the incident.

Police believe this incident was isolated and targeted.
