On April 26, 2026, Waterloo Regional Police responded to a report of a sexual assault in the area of Hickory Street and Regina Street in Waterloo.

At approximately 7:40 p.m., an adult female reported that she was sexually assaulted outside of her residence after being followed there by an unknown male suspect.

No physical injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

The investigation is ongoing. Police will be canvassing the area for video footage that may assist investigators.
