Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service Traffic Services Unit are investigating a motor vehicle collision in Waterloo.
On April 28, 2026, at approximately 5:55 a.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving a Volvo motor vehicle and a Ford motor vehicle at the intersection of Fischer‑Hallman Road and University Avenue West.
The driver of the Volvo, a 72‑year‑old Waterloo male, was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Ford, a 26‑year‑old Kitchener male, attended a local hospital with non‑life‑threatening injuries.
