Waterloo Regional Police have arrested two individuals in connection to multiple carjackings.

There were no reports of any physical injuries at the time.

The investigations continued and resulted in the recovery of a stolen motor vehicle in Barrie, Ontario.

Forensic evidence was obtained and later led to the identification of the two suspects.

On February 27, 2025, a 22-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with multiple offences, including robbery with a weapon, uttering threats, and theft of a motor vehicle.

A 20-year-old female from Oro-Medonte Township has also been charged with several offences, including robbery with a weapon, uttering threats, and theft of a motor vehicle.

Both parties were held for a bail hearing.
