Police Seek Public’s Help to Identify Cambridge Break‑and‑Enter Suspect

On June 3, 2026, as part of the ongoing investigation lead by South Division Patrol, members of South Division's Downtown Visibility Officer Team arrested and charged a 45-year-old Cambridge male with several offences, including:
- Disguise with Intent
- Break and Enter
- Theft Under $5,000 (three counts)
- Mischief Under $5,000
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 (three counts)
- Fail to comply with Judicial order
The accused was held for a bail hearing

Waterloo Regional Police have laid charges in connection to a commercial break-and-enter in Cambridge.
On May 3, 2026, police received a report of a break-in at a business located in the area of Water Street North near Park Hill Road East.
Through investigation, South Division officers determined that suspects gained entry to the building and stole approximately $1,600 worth of soda and ice cream. Damage to the property was estimated at approximately $500.
Members of South Division's Street Crime Team have arrested and charged a 38-year-old Cambridge male with several offences, including:
- Disguise with Intent
- Break and Enter
- Theft Under $5,000 (three counts)
- Mischief Under $5,000
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 (three counts)
The accused is scheduled to appear in court on August 11, 2026.
An arrest warrant has also been issued for a 45-year-old Cambridge male for multiple charges, including Break and Enter, Theft Under $5,000, Mischief Under $5,000, and Fail to Comply with Judicial Order.
Investigators are also seeking to identify a third individual (pictured below) described as a White male, last week wearing a dark jacket with white trim on the neck and mid-section, military-style pants, and a dark-coloured toque with a white crest.

Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a break-and-enter at a Cambridge business.
On May 3, 2026, police received a report of a commercial break-in on Water Street North near Park Hill Road East.
The investigation determined that unknown individual(s) gained entry to the building and stole property.
The incident is believed to have occurred between 1:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m.
Officers are looking to identify and speak to the individual pictured below in connection to the incident.
