Police Continue to Investigate Kitchener Residential Break and Enter
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a residential break and enter in Kitchener.
On February 23, 2025, between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., an unknown male gained entry to a residence in the area of Waterloo Street and Louisa Street.
Through the investigation, it was determined that an unknown suspect gained entry to residence. Once inside the suspect stole personal items and left the residence. The home was occupied at the time of the incident.
Investigators are looking to identify and speak to the individual pictured below in connection to this incident.
Police are encouraging homeowners to consider the following safety measures to help prevent break-and-enters:
- Lock windows and doors, including garage doors, even when home.
- Ensure valuables are secured in a locked location, such as a safe.
- Consider installing a surveillance/security system, which can remotely monitor the front, rear, and inside the residence.
- Report any suspicious activity or individuals to police immediately.
The investigation remains ongoing by the Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team.
