Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Serious Collision in Cambridge
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a serious collision in Cambridge involving a dirt bike.
On May 18, 2026, at approximately 4:10 p.m., emergency services responded to a report of a collision between a Ford motor vehicle and a dirt bike in the area of Dundas Street South, southeast of Branchton Road.
A 20-year-old Cambridge male operating the dirt bike was transported by air ambulance to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Ford, a 21-year-old male from Hannon, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Dundas Street South was closed for several hours between Branchton Road and Vanier Drive while members of WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit investigated.
The investigation remains ongoing.
