Police Investigating Serious Motorcycle Collision in Wilmot Township

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a serious collision in Wilmot Township involving a motorcycle and a GMC sport utility vehicle.

On May 21, 2026, at approximately 4:25 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision at the intersection of Bridge Street and Walker Road.

The motorcyclist, a 53-year-old male from Embro, was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the GMC, a 45-year-old female from St. Marys, did not sustain any physical injuries.

The intersection was closed for several hours while members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Services Unit investigated.

The investigation remains ongoing.
