WRPS Arrest Three Individuals and Seized Firearms and Drugs in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested three individuals and seized firearms and drugs in Kitchener.
In April 2026, members of the WRPS’ Street Crime Team initiated a firearms investigation.
On May 22, 2026, officers completed a search warrant at a residence on Vanier Drive and seized the following:
- Two firearms (one replica and one with ammunition)
- Suspected cocaine
- Suspected fentanyl
- Stolen identity documents
- Stolen business documents
As a result of the investigation, two males, ages 37 and 35, and a 36-year-old female, all from Kitchener were arrested and charged with:
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition
- Careless storage of a firearm
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking (two counts)
The 35-year-old male was additionally charged with:
- Possession of weapon contrary to prohibition order
- Failure to comply with order
- Breach probation
The 37-year-old male was additional charged with:
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon
- Possess identity document
- Possession of weapon contrary to prohibition order
- Beach of probation
The three accused were held for a bail hearing.
