Waterloo Regional Police are investigating an assault involving a youth in Kitchener.

On May 25, 2026, at approximately 1:45 p.m., a male youth was assaulted while walking in the area of Rosemount Drive and Eton Drive. An unknown male confronted the youth and struck him multiple times before fleeing the area in a black pickup truck.

The vehicle was last seen in the area of Rosemount Drive and River Road.

The suspect is described as a White male, approximately 20 to 30 years old, with a medium build, curly dark hair, and a dark beard.

The investigation remains ongoing.
