Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a weapons-related incident in Kitchener.

On June 7, 2026, at approximately 1 a.m., three youths were in the area of Fairway Road South and Highway 8 South when they were approached by multiple individuals in a vehicle. A weapon was discharged, and the youths fled the area.

There were no reported physical injuries.

The suspect vehicle is described as a dark-coloured, older model sedan.

The investigation is ongoing.
