Waterloo Regional Police Make Arrest for Impaired Driving following Collision in Waterloo
The Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Neighbourhood Policing North Division has laid charges after a vehicle strikes three parked cars in Waterloo.
On February 6, 2025, at approximately 2:30 a.m., officers responded to the area of Bridgeport Road East and Moore Avenue North after a report of a collision.
Through the investigation, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle left the roadway, struck a snowbank and went airborne. The vehicle slid down a pathway and landed on top of three parked cars.
Two passengers, both 23-year-old were transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver, a 28-year-old Cambridge male was arrested for impaired driving.
As a result of the investigation, the driver was charged with:
- Operation While Impaired
- Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration
- Dangerous Operation
