Police Continue to Investigate Hate-Motivated Incident in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a hate motivated incident in Kitchener.
On June 16, 2026, police responded to the area of Westwood Drive for reports of a verbal dispute in the area of Westwood Drive.
At approximately 10 a.m., an unknown male approached the victim and initiated a verbal confrontation, during which he directed racial slurs towards them.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 45 years, balding, and was wearing a grey t-shirt, grey shorts and black shoes. The suspect was walking a dog at the time of the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
