Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Fatal Pedestrian Collision in Kitchener
Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Services Unit are continuing to investigate a fatal collision in Kitchener.
On June 27, 2026, at approximately 4:05 p.m., emergency services responded to the intersection of Victoria Street North and Frederick Street for reports of a collision involving a Jeep Wrangler and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 62-year-old female, was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Jeep, a 41-year-old male, was not physically injured.
The roadway was closed for several hours while police conducted their investigation.
The investigation remains ongoing.
