Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a robbery at a Waterloo store.

On July 13, 2026, at approximately 3 a.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at a business on King Street North near University Avenue. 

Through the investigation, it was determined that two male suspects were attempting to steal merchandise when they were confronted by a store employee. One of the suspects then assaulted the victim before both suspects fled the store with the stolen merchandise. 

The investigation is ongoing.
