Waterloo Regional Police Continue to Investigate Shooting in Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a shooting in Waterloo.
On July 26, 2026, at approximately 12:15 a.m., police responded to reports of a shooting on Marshall Street.
Upon arrival, officers located a 31-year-old male who had sustained a gunshot wound. The male was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators believe the involved parties were known to each other.
The investigation remains ongoing by WRPS’ General Investigations Unit.
There will be an increased police presence in the area as officers canvass for witnesses and gather additional information.
