Waterloo Regional Police Charge Male with Attempted Murder Following Stabbing in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police have charged a male with attempted murder following a stabbing in Kitchener.
On July 29, 2026, at approximately 8:15 p.m., police responded to a residence in the area of Mill Street and Ottawa Street South for a report of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to an out-of-region hospital.
As a result of the investigation, a 28-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with Attempted Murder.
The victim and accused are known to each other and there is no ongoing concern for public safety.
