Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a series of thefts from restaurants across Kitchener and Wilmot Township.

Between July 5, 2026, and July 28, 2026, officers responded to five reports of thefts from restaurants in the following areas:

• Westmount Road East and Ottawa Street South
• Courtland Avenue East and Shelley Drive
• Fischer-Hallman Road and Bleams Road
• Bleams Road and Highway 7

In each incident, an unknown male stole cash from a till and then fled in a motor vehicle.

The male suspect is described as approximately 6’ tall, wearing a scarf or bandana and a hat. He may be operating a grey 2017-2019 Ford Escape.

Investigators would like to identify and speak to the individual pictured below in connection to these incidents.
