Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male in connection to a suspicious person investigation in Kitchener.

On August 8, 2026, at approximately 9:40 p.m., police responded to the area of Valebrook Street and Deer Creek Street after receiving reports of a suspicious person in the area of Valebrook Street and Deer Creek.

The male fled the area prior to police arrival.

As a result of the investigation, on August 9, 2026, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service arrested a 29-year-old Kitchener male.

The male has been charged with:

• Indecent Act
• Voyeurism
• Trespass at Night

The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
