Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after a vehicle was struck by a firearm projectile in Waterloo.
On August 8, 2026, at approximately 2 p.m., police received a report that a vehicle had been struck by a large-calibre rifle round in the area of The Boardwalk.
The projectile is believed to have been fired from a significant distance away, originating from a rural area.
No physical injuries were reported, and police did not receive any additional reports of gunshots in the area.
