Waterloo Regional Police have laid charges following a series of assaults in Kitchener.

On August 14, 2026, at approximately 7 p.m., police received multiple reports of an unknown male assaulting individuals in the area of Fallowfield Park.

Through the investigation, officers learned that several victims were randomly assaulted while walking on trails within the park. The victims sustained minor physical injuries.

Officers responded to the area and arrested the suspect without incident.

As a result of the investigation, a 39-year-old Kitchener male has been charged with two counts of Assault and two counts of Criminal Harassment.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Waterloo Regional Police are asking any additional victims or witnesses who have not yet spoken with police to come forward.
